Every build here comes straight out of the project's own pipeline, with the checksum it was published under. Put a host on the workstation you want to reach and the Connection Manager somewhere both ends can see; install a client on whatever is on your desk.

Licensing. These builds are free to download and evaluate under the
software licence, which you accept by downloading one; use
beyond an evaluation needs a commercial licence. For terms, volume, or anything that has
to go past a procurement team, write to

Each card shows the SHA-256 of the file it links to. On macOS and Linux,
shasum -a 256 <file> should print the same string.

A workstation asks for a licence before it lets anybody connect. Give us an email address and we will send you a trial licence for up to three workstations, for 30 days. One trial per address; for a longer one, or an air-gapped evaluation, write to licensing@longview.network.

What each piece needs.
| Component | Runs on | Needs |
|---|---|---|
| Linux host | Linux, x86-64 | NVIDIA driver with NVENC and NvFBC, an X session, and PAM |
| macOS host | macOS 14+, Apple silicon | Screen Recording permission, granted once to the service |
| Windows host | Windows 10/11, x86-64 | An NVIDIA GPU with NVENC |
| Connection Manager | Linux, x86-64 | Nothing but a network path to the workstations and one inbound port |
| macOS client | macOS 14+, Apple silicon | Screen Recording and Accessibility permission, granted on first run |
| Windows client | Windows 10/11, x86-64 | An NVIDIA GPU, for hardware HEVC decode |
| Linux client | Linux, x86-64 | NVIDIA driver for NVDEC, and an X session |
NVIDIA only, for now. Every GPU path above is NVIDIA's —
NVENC to encode, NVDEC to decode — except the macOS builds, which use Apple
silicon's own media engine. AMD and Intel are on the roadmap and are not in this
release.
